Château des Crêtes
Chasselas

The vines that spread out on a gentle south-east-facing slope are well “capped”: not only by the winegrowers who tend them, but also by the red brick building, flanked by a turret, that overlooks them.

A Château des Crêtes built in neo-Renaissance style by the “King of Parisian Gas”, Vincent Dubochet (1796-1877), the son of a Montreux peasant who returned to his native land to make his success a reality, right next to where Rousseau set his “Nouvelle Héloïse”.

This noble Chasselas, elegant and floral with a hint of lime blossom, delights the palate.
