2. Scope of application
LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX operates an online shop at www.lacave-vm.ch. The general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed with LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX via the www.lacave-vm.ch website.
The offer is only valid for Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

The products offered online are valid as long as they appear on the website and while stocks last. The description sheets and images of the individual articles are only for information and illustration purposes and are not binding.
3. Order
Orders from one packing unit are honoured. A contract of sale is deemed to have been concluded between the parties as soon as LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX confirms the customer’s order by e-mail.
In principle, we only allow the conclusion of orders for items that are physically available in our stock. Nevertheless, if a difference in stock prevents us from delivering an article, we undertake to inform you as soon as possible and to offer you alternative products. You can then decide whether you accept our offer of substitution or whether you prefer to cancel your order.
4. Prices
All prices shown are in Swiss francs, including 7.7% VAT, without delivery costs. The prices displayed at the time of order are subject to changes in the assortment, vintage, availability of articles and the correction of obvious errors or typing mistakes.
LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX may carry out promotions on its assortment. These offers are only valid during the publication period and for orders placed on the site. They cannot be requested retroactively.
5. Payment
The customer can pay for his order in the following way:
– By credit card: Mastercard, Visa
– By direct debit card: PostFinance Direct Debit
In the case of purchases by credit card, your credit card account will be debited at the time the order is concluded.
6. Delivery
A contribution to delivery costs is calculated in proportion to the total weight of the order.
LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX limits deliveries to Switzerland. Delivery is made to the delivery address indicated by the customer.
LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX reserves the right to charge additional transport costs of CHF 20.00 in the event of a first unsuccessful delivery attempt.
In the event of the temporary unavailability of an article or a pre-order, LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX may have to deliver the same order in several instalments. In this case, LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX undertakes to charge a possible contribution to delivery costs only once.
7. Collection from our warehouse
All orders can be picked up at no extra charge at our shop, avenue de Belmont 30bis – Montreux, during our opening hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:30, or Saturday morning from 9:00 to 12:30.
8. Packaging
The products ordered are delivered in their original boxes or crates with the exception of mixed boxes or cases. There is no return of glass.
9. Retention of title
The goods remain the property of LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX until they have been paid for in full, including any contribution to delivery costs.
10. Guarantee of satisfaction
We make every effort to offer you products of the highest quality. If you are not satisfied with the goods you have ordered, you have one month to inform our customer service department. In this case, our consultant will find a solution together with you.
11. Return of defective bottles
Following the decision of the Swiss General Meeting of Wine Merchants of 10 June 1988 and according to the arts. 197 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations:
Wines bottled in Switzerland will be replaced or refunded for one year from the date of delivery.
12. Alcohol-based products minimum 18 years old in Switzerland and the European Union
The sale of alcohol-based products (wine, spirits, sparkling wine, etc.) to under-18s is prohibited. By placing an order in the online shop of LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX, the customer acknowledges these regulations and confirms that he/she is authorised to make these purchases.
13. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute relating to sales concluded within the framework of the present general terms and conditions will be the exclusive competence of the courts of the canton of Vaud, subject to possible recourse to the Federal Court.
14. Modifications and additions
LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX expressly reserves the right to adapt these general terms and conditions to circumstances at any time and to apply them immediately. In particular, LA CAVE VEVEY-MONTREUX undertakes to immediately incorporate the amended or supplemented conditions of the credit card organisations.
