It is also a member of VINOFED, the World Federation of Major International Wine and Spirits Competitions, which currently comprises 15 major competitions. Recognition on national and international markets with a maximum of 30% medals awarded, according to OIV standards. This year, 659 samples from 19 countries were submitted. That&#8217;s how prestigious the medal won by \u201cLa Cave\u201d is!    <\/p>&#13;\n<p class=\"p2\">Derek Shaw, Cave Vevey-Montreux&#8217;s new head of sales and marketing, and an international taster, is delighted with the medal he won. \u201cOur medal is all the more extraordinary given that the\u201d other white grape variety \u201ccategory brings together wines far more renowned than our Chasselas, itself classified in the Lavaux 3 category.
